Avoid contact of watches and jewellery (bracelets, earrings, vintage earrings) with chemicals such as detergents, perfumes, cosmetics or chlorinated water (e.g. in swimming pools).
These substances can weaken the structure of the metal and accelerate its dulling or damage.

2. Putting on and taking off jewelry

Remove jewelry and watches before doing household chores (cleaning, cooking, gardening) to prevent possible mechanical damage.
Jewellery and watches should also be removed before playing sports to avoid scratches or accidental damage.

3. Allergic reactions

Watches and jewellery made of 14-karat gold or containing other metal alloys may cause allergic reactions in people sensitive to nickel or other metals.
